Today we made cherry hazelnut muffins in the air fryer to celebrate Violet’s 15th birthday. It’s amazing how she came to the family and how much joy she brings to our lives. The process of making the muffins was simple and fun, and they turned out delicious!
The combination of cherries and hazelnuts in the muffins created a perfect balance of flavors, and cooking them in the air fryer gave them a crispy exterior while keeping the inside moist. It was a special way to celebrate Violet’s birthday and create lasting memories with our loved ones.

Hey guys so this is the second upload of this video I uploaded earlier today I’ve paid epidemic sound and they copyrighted my V my music yet again this is the seventh video the other six before this one were copyrighted and I took them down took the music up off except for the last one I left it up but it’s not being monetized now I’ve contacted them.
And they were of no help at all they sent me an email wanted to know how they did like you did absolutely nothing and I gave them what they needed I’m I’m not renewing my subscription next month and I’m going to find another um music platform to use their music if you know of any please let me know down in the comments so I’m sorry there’s no music.
To this boring beginning but um the fog was pretty though you guys have a good day hey guys supposed to have a video up today and I really didn’t have anything I have some clips of Owen and I taking a walk and some little paw prints I love seeing that little Wildlife Paw Prints but today I figured well my friend just called me and she was she’s selling her.
House and she’s having a show in today for two people so she was going to make banana nut bread so the house smells good so I had just picked up some glutenfree flour I found in the excuse me the clearance section for a dollar like let me give this a shot so I’m going to make Cherry hazelnut muffins in my two little.
Pine metal bowls in my air fryer so let’s get going here used about five heaping teaspoons I don’t measure I’m one of those kind of Bakers you know well maybe a little more um living micro the least amount of dishes I can make is just so much better so I got some flour in this bowl about yay much probably about a cup I’m making.
A mess here I got some turbinado sugar need some more of this smells like molasses probably about two teaspoons or so have a little bit left there um some baking soda about half a teaspoon just to help it rise some coconut milk I don’t have any.
Oil the coconut milk does have some fat in it ew yuck it’s Spilled Out I’m just going to use what’s left in the can here probably about less than a/4 cup it’s got some spirulina on it so it doesn’t look good just a little bit wondering what that green stuff.
Was get this started up am I missing something besides oil have some butter but to put a little water in here oh I know what I could use hold on one second I have some applesauce that’ll work I.
Think oh come on why not making a mess oh there it is found it you see behind me I have my a desk lamp hanging up which moved to try and give me some light down here hanging up from my ceiling vent here we go just stay use some applesauce this is vegan of course what.
I’m making I bought this air fryer God six seven years ago for my son but he started going on the road a lot and he never used it and of course I was on the road then so I took it back and I paid like $80 for this little thing I have used this more than I can can count I’m telling you this thing.
Has come in handy so many times it made so much stuff in it and I’m hoping it doesn’t have that lining it’s like black metal I know they’re saying now not to use the Teflon coating just use all that get in there just stir this.
Up I made garlic bread the other day in it oh that came out so good some dried cherries just a handful got some hazelnuts here was going to use walnuts but I had walnuts this morning on my avocado toast just a handful of.
Hazelnuts oh I forgot my darn it darn it hold on let me shut this off SEC got my um my egg replacement which this is just you see it Bob’s Redmill egg replacer it’s just ground up flax seed it acts as an egg use a teaspoon to I think it’s a tablespoon of water that helps bind everything.
Together that’s hot ouch that’s hot in my finger now get off to let that sit for a minute you can use regular ground flax seed this is just really fine it’s like a powder or you can use chia seeds this has some of the dough in it you see it’s.
Just it helps bind it all together I love to bake soon as my kids are old enough to sit in a highight chair and feed themselves they were given a piece of dough well I baked pies or made cookies or whatever.
Pizza had to be something with dough right and they all grew up had seven kids they all grew up loving to bake too all right I’m going to put that in my pans I’m going to get some butter so I can grease these I forgot to add some cinnamon too I try to put cinnamon in a lot.
Cinnamon’s an anti-inflammatory and it’s good for a lot of other things too mix that up I bake each of these for about 20 minutes got a lot in here today that flour really puffed up all right I greased my little.
Bowls I might get three in here going to get more than two put about that much cuz they kind of puff up and the um there’s not a lot of room in there and it will hit the it’ll hit the burner I have some musely here usually it’s like oatmeal with.
Little dates and seeds in it some of that on top could have made a strucel instead with some of that leftover batter I push that in some because that starts to burn but if it’s pushed into the batter doesn’t burn as quickly there we.
Go sprinkle little cinnamon on top see put that in there and this thing is so beat up it’s all scratched up it has been all over the country several times the dial here is stuck on 350 I think I have it on goes up to 400 this Dial’s missing so I use my.
Leatherman to start it it goes to 30 it go too 30 minutes yeah I just turn it until it stops there we go all right guys I’ll show you when this is done oh that looks pretty good let me.
Get this out of here look at all these scratches it’s just so beat up well I have to say that looks pretty darn good I’m going to have this with a cup of tea so I was asked when I did what video is that oh when I made um let me fix this when I made eldery syrup one of my.
Viewers asked if I could do some more immune boosting uh videos or recipes um I made a soup yesterday it was more like a Minon soup but instead I used um some chickp I had left over instead of pasta which made it healthier and I forgot to film that I’m such a horrible content creator but my.
Muffins I just made the Cherry hazelnut muffins I looked it up and here are some benefits for you I was surprised by some of these some of the benefits of cherries they’re full of vitamin C they have protective antioxidants they’re low glycemic index to manage your blood sugar they lower blood pressure and cholesterol so they’re heart healthy.
They have anti-inflammatory properties I they alleviate symptoms of gout they help reduce help recover from exercise they help with sleep and they may help prevent cancer that’s all in a cherry so eat your cherries guys and hazelnuts hazelnuts aid aid in digestion they strengthen bones they.
Help with weight loss they’re also an anti-inflammatory which I didn’t know that they support bowel movements protect against cell damage they also lower cholesterol improves insulin sensitivity they’re a heart healthy nut and for you men out there they improve your sperm count so eat your hazelnuts guys so yeah I made a a healthy muffin.
And I was surprised I don’t use a lot of gluten-free flour I have noticed that some flowers um have been bothering me you know I have Alpha gal syndrome I have got issues and uh Alpha gal Syndrome from my tick bite I’m allergic to meat Dairy fish um you name it I’m completely vegan 100% um but I have noticed that some gluten tends to bother.
Me sometimes like a lot of it like really dark wheat bread I have issues with um so when I see gluten flour a gluten glutenfree flour I’ll pick it up and that bag was a dollar and it was the only one there there so I I would have bought more but I do because I have been using almond flour but it tends to be gritty sometimes in some of the things I.
Make I notice baking it’s not but if I make a pancakes with it it’s very gritty like you know just ground up almonds but um I’m going to taste this I haven’t used it yet I have my muffin cooling down they came out pretty nice um I’ll let you know how they taste but I hope you en enjoyed this this impromptu video I made and um you saw what my house.
Looked like a living micro I had stuff everywhere here the dogs have their pink blanket here that’s always the bed’s always a mess it’s made every morning and then they have their blanket my dogs and it just looks messy to me right Viet and here’s my sweet little girl Valentine’s Day make sure her eyeballs are.
Clean was her 15th birthday right Missy huh I got her in case you didn’t know if you’re new here this is violet she’s a little Chihuahua from Louisiana I went to the feed store to buy Elliot my rat Terrier who’s 16 it’ll be 17 in August um dog food and she said what kind of dog do you have I said a rat Terry she goes you want a.
Chow puppy I am not a small dog person I only got Elliot because I was only allowed to have a dog up to 30 lbs where I was living and they didn’t have anything at the shelters that I liked and there was a breeder in the town I lived in and uh I do like Terriers and uh I got him he SP a piece of work but the lady.
Said that this little little girl here was being beaten by her two and three-year-old granddaughter and she had to get it out of the house she was 12 weeks old it broke my heart I said I’ll take her I met her on the side of the highway I walked up to her her blue minivan she handed me this little blue dog carrier out the window and took.
Off it was like a drug deal I didn’t even get to see what she looked like until we got her in my truck then you couldn’t touch her I couldn’t get her out of the carrier I had to dump her her out you could only touch her her safe place was right here you couldn’t touch anything else on her or she would go ballistic and bite you up until a few.
Years ago um it took two of us to cut her nails and I’ve been a groomer for years my whole career’s been dogs and I’ve cut tens of thousands of nails this one it took two of us we would have to wrap her neck in a towel my daughter would hold her we’d squeeze one paw out of the towel at a time um the last couple years I’ve been able to do it.
Myself I still wrap her head in a towel because she still now and again goes after me but she doesn’t growl and snap and go crazy the whole time we’re doing it so I’ll get about let’s see I’ll get about 15 nails done how many you got five got four no I about four five 10 I’ll get about 10 nails done and then she’ll snap sometimes a little more but.
She lets me do it but she’s gotten older you know 15 she’s an old girl and she had seizures when she was younger so she wasn’t spay um so she just had a little teeny bit of a prolapse uterus but threw on an antibiotic for a few days and that cleared it up and um she got accidentally kicked in the head um years.
Ago about God I can’t remember quite a few years ago eight years ago and uh she got up the next morning and her eyes had blown and I took her out and she walked into to this year she walked into the cement thing um on we lived in a townhouse the cement parking thing and she had a hematoma so I took her to the vet and I.
Asked about her eyes and the L’s like the vet oh that’s just um that’s just cataracts I’m like I’m thinking to myself it wasn’t there yesterday her eyes were fine yesterday and uh you I just assumed it from the head injury and she said she was fine she drained her ear and then I was in prump years ago.
Waiting for I had to meet Bob Wells he did a tour of my my trailer so I had to go to promp never been there before and actually I love it there now um she was wandering around on her leash and she hit the stabilizer and uh had a hematoma on this year took her to the vet there $300 and something dollars and I’m sitting there.
Waiting for her to come out to handed me the bill and I’m reading the itemized Bill and it was 30 $4 for a 4 in piece of tape that they just taped around her ear like that all they did was drain it and tape the ear and gave her anti-inflammatory and a steroid no a steroid and a um antibiotic well I gave her the.
Steroid and her whole right side of her breast swelled up from the steroid so I ended up giving it to Elliot cuz he had a bad tooth at the time that cleared him up they’ve since had their Dental from them but I was I was in shock that he charged me that much money for a freaking piece of tape $34 probably bought the whole case of.
Tape that just to me that was wrong and the lady sitting next to me she heard cuz I said something out loud about it and she went on about all the money she spent on a Golden Retriever and it was insane she said she spent about $60,000 and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her dog and it went to the Veterinary Hospital in Denver Colorado.
And the dog ended up dying but it’s it’s a ripoff vet stopped overcharging us like that it’s insane so I ended up taking care of violet myself like I did with this one ear cuz it’s kept swelling up um I researched it and benan night clay um that’s what the UK uses you make a paste and you wrap it up for about what was it.
Almost two weeks I think I kept her wrapped up and the benight clay draws the moisture out and uh both of her ears cauliflower this is called the cauliflower where it just shrivel up there’s no making it better it’ll never be the same year again A friend of mine Lex her dog uh Riot just recently got one and uh.
They look funny so the first couple pictures I have shows Violet with both her ears and then one ear and then two ears but yeah she’s a piece of work here but I mean she’s 15 I I can’t believe I didn’t know that really to be honest that my animals my dogs would live this long and I’m sure they got many more years to go all right guys I’m blabbing.
