Discovering Delicious Gluten-Free Treasures: A Journey Through Aldi’s Aisles!
Okay so I did my makeup today for no reason and I figure might as well make a video while I look presentable I just went to Aldi’s so we’re just going to unpack everything milk we get the 1% uh I don’t really know why it helps keep our fats down a little bit but full milk fat is totally cool um random grab in.
The aisle they always get you with something but I don’t have a muffin tray so now I have a muffin tray and I can make gluten-free muffins and gluten-free cupcakes because I’ve been wanting to do them and another thing so this is I got these once and this time I bought two of these clusters okay um I gave them to some of my clients some women in the.
Classes this stuff is like crack it is mostly like pumpkin seeds and coconut clusters so I grabbed two because eventually they won’t be there anymore uh bananas always got to grab some bananas I’m going to put this in my banana holder boom dumb fly in.
Here okay um when it comes to salads we just get like salad kits make our lives easier um because I pretty much cook everything else we make the veggies really convenient and um I grabbed a tomato Southwest bean soup I really like these um they are uh this is pretty low in fat we got.
Three and A2 fat 30 carbs you’re getting a good amount of fiber 5 gr of fiber and 5 g of protein and that’s in three servings in here we normally split it so that gives me um like you know a little bit more protein and then we add chicken to it and then that’s a pretty good meal is a tomato bean and chicken uh just got a bunch of eggs go.
Through eggs like crazy and and I got sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes so I’ll be roasting those more corn tortillas huge staple in my gluten-free diet um the dogs love cheese Will loves cheese once in a while I’ll use this in like my eggs so I got a havari and a.
Cheddar um not a huge staple in my diet I cook my potatoes and vegetables with olive oil but if I’m making eggs and baking I need my spray you’ve been out of that I have my limes Tomatoes avocado and cilantro I’m going to make some guacamole that’s pretty much a staple in our house is to have guac and I prefer to make it over.
Buying the pre-made stuff I do sometimes buy the pre-made guac it’s just um another way for us to easily get vegetables in some frozen green beans always a staple and so interesting buys today we already have chicken breasts that we need to cook um they didn’t have salmon filets and that’s normally what I would.
Get especially for the healthy fats so instead I got some petite sirloins these are slightly on the leaner side for steaks they’re only 11 G of fat per 4 oz and they cook up pretty good and there’s three of them I got some ground lamb which they don’t always have I love ground lamb it is higher in fat which then brings me to.
My next choice of getting the very lean ground turkey to offset the fact that other parts of my diet are going to be a little bit higher in fat um it’s all about balance so you know fats aren’t bad but if I don’t watch out I could easily hit like 100 grams of fat a day um I eat whole eggs and avocados and I love nut Butters so I.
Always try and have two of my protein sources lower in fat like chicken breast like the lean turkey and I also have some tuna packets
