Succulent Shreds: A Gluten-Free Adventure in Flavor
All right, welcome back everybody. Tony, no guts, no gluten. And today we’re going to do a little bit of a field trip. We’re going to go to Moe’s Smokehouse in Sarver, PA. And they got a bunch of gluten-free stuff. So, their beef sticks are gluten-free, but their jerky is not. I.
Don’t believe they have smoked cheese, bacon, bunch of different kinds of bacon, bologoney, sausage, anything you know a smokehouse would have. They have marinated steaks, smoked salmon, anything you can think of coming from a meat smokehouse.
Um, so today we’re going to do a comparison to their um, chopped pork or shredded pork, barbecued pork, and then mine. Um, both gluten-free and they’re cheese balls. This is a cheese ball wrapped or a cheese.
Ball covered in bacon bits. their own bacon. Look at that. These are glutenfree for the longest time. Um, I wasn’t buying them. I love cheese balls, but I wasn’t buying them because I thought that they had gluten in them from the soy sauce. And they reassured me that they’re um soy sauce.
Is gluten-free. So every time I go there, I have to buy two. And usually I give, you know, I eat some then give the half away. But so all right, this is my barbecued pork. We both use the same barbecue sauce, Sweet Baby Rays, which is.
Gluten-free. Yeah, I’m a little bit biased. Mine’s pretty good. Cleansy old palette there. And then theirs, mine’s more shredded, you know, um, chopped. Theirs is more shredded, stringy. There’s pretty good. One bite. Everybody knows the.
Rules. My cat Victor wants some. You want some? Yeah. Look. So, both are really good. Mine I cook with some pepperchinis in it, so it gives it that little bit of a spice. But, you know, they do a good.
Job. They really do. So, I’m going to have to, you know, I love mine, but this is pretty good. All right. And the cheese balls are excellent. The beef sticks are excellent. They have regular cheese, jalapeno, honey. Um, a loaded or I think it’s an everything. They have hot sticks. Um,.
And then they have 5% hot sticks, which is hotter. um bacon baloney, cheese baloney in their um not cooked section. They have breakfast sausage. I believe they have hot sausage, sweet sausage, or Italian.
Sausage. Uh marinated steaks. They also do smoked shrimp, smoked salmon. Um, you you just got to go check it out. It’s in Sarver, right next to the post office across the street from J Ford. If you’re even a even an hour, it’s worth an hour drive easy to go there. And if you want to try something,.
They’ll give you a little sample. So, oh, they also have uh ham barbecues. Um, so they call they have like sandwiches. They call them Smokies instead like Hogis, Smokies. Um, yeah, just go to their website and check them out and tell them Tony from No Guts No Gluten sent you. I’m not getting paid. I’m just, you.
Know, it’s nice to find a place that if you ask them if something’s gluten-free, they’ll tell you if it’s gluten-free or not. So, yeah, go check them out and uh I’ll put up a little bit of, you know, show you a little bit from their website what they have. All right. I know that’s it’s been a while since I put anything out.
