Hey guys Dr Christy Enis welcome to follow me Friday where motion is lotion and today we are getting strength and cardio all standing and you just need some light dumbbells all right grab those dumbbells we’re going to start with a bicep curl and a little heel dig so curl it and kick it out and follow right along with.
Me so you don’t even need to count although I’m a terrible counter so maybe you should I don’t know no it’ll be fine so we’re getting a little bit of speed here which is why I’m also going lighter weights here’s 10 we’re halfway with this one keep those elbows close to your side that’s 14 15 16 17 three more 18 19.
And 20 good we’re going to punch it and tap it out with our legs so punch across step it out there we go again 20 of these as well you can see I’ve got my element with me today I’ve got the citrus which is my favorite flavor my son’s is the watermelon they’re both awesome they’re awesome because I’m a big sweater if you are a big sweater too.
It’s got 1,000 milligrams of sodium it’s got 200 Mill look I’m already sweating and having a hard time 200 milligrams of potassium and 60 milligrams of magnesium and it’s not even just for exercise as you can tell I might need some soon in a minute here but if you’re not feeling well dehydrated maybe you have a little bit too much to drink.
That always works too makes me feel way better let’s get a couple more here good you’re going to keep those weights right in at your side and we’re going to switch it up so you’re going to go into a squat and then a little side leg lift so it’s down and then up good I actually really love the flavor gosh I really am out of breath today.
It’s been a long day guys it’s great too because there’s nothing artificial in it so you don’t have any artificial flavors no sugar if you have a gluten issue you don’t have to worry about that no gluten in there either so all good stuff tastes good feels good and you guys are lucky because if you go to my link drink LM.
Nt.com christianis and you place an order you’ll get a free eight pack sampler with all those yummy flavors that you can try on your own or if you really want to share with your friends gosh I’m really sorry guys I know I normally work hard but this to me is extra hard today I might be a little.
Tired so if that’s the case for you too take it easy listen to your body I’m actually going to slow down just a touch here so that I can catch my breath just a little bit la la good okay going out into a side lunge and you’re going to do an upper cut so I’m going to go that way first lunge it and come up and across who sorry I don’t know who I’m.
Apologizing to my I think there’s two you’re going to do 20 total that’s three four five really try to sit back into that lunge six 7 8 9 10 you’re halfway with this one 10.
Nine really punch it up don’t punch yourself in the face obviously eight seven little snap crackle pop there for me six motion is lotion see five four three two one more like this one good we’re going back into that bit of a squat arms are going to come behind and.
Then up out at an angle so it’s squat it down bring those arms up really think about shift those hips squeeze that butt bring those arms as far back as you can without it tossing you forward there there’s three four notice I can’t squat super duper far because I’ve got some injuries that’s okay I’m still moving I’m still.
Doing it right persistent and consistent is the key here so movement whatever that means for you guys every day it’s okay if you have to modify I have to modify frequently we’re we’re going to do two more awesome one more exercise to go we’re going to step back into a lunge and then I’m going to add a little.
Tricep action here too now if lunging bothers you go ahead and just do a little step back right that’s okay to do too you’re still getting that movement still that strength I’m going to go back into that lunge a little bit really try to just let those lower arms move instead of that upper arm so you really get that tricep extend it straight.
Out finding a spot on the wall for balance helps too so we got legs we got glutes hips arms shoulders you got everything working today got a few more to go and then you’re done notice I’m not going into a full lunge today either again I’m still.
Moving though right I’m still doing something and that is a win in my book we’re going to do one more on each leg and then you are done and last one guys awesome nice job
