Whispers of Wellness: Unveiling Gluten-Free Treasures from Vitacost

Hi good afternoon so I wanted to show you I just got a packaging today from V cost of glutenfree goodies and I wanted to share with you a couple of the items that I received in my delivery we going to get lots of crinkles today so um if you like crinkles definitely stick around because.

We have lots of crinkly things to look at so the first one we have is this right here and this is in the shape fusini and it is brown rice pasta from tinada is the brand and it’s glutenfree with a good texture not mushy Al Dente this is one.

Of my favorite brands of gluten-free pasta it Cooks up really well it’s not mushy honestly and it holds together really well if you’re doing like a baked pasta or anything like that or baked spaghetti so I really like this Brad it’s certified kosher and it is non GMO certified so if that’s important to you it has that as.

Well they also have easy energy saving cooking um instructions on the package so it’ll show you how to cook it using less energy which is great if you’re camping and want to be able to save energy and really just save money overall so this is one of my favorite Brands and we’ll go through the other products that I got which I believe the.

Majority are from this particular your brand look close at the shape of our to the side the next shape that we have is Spirals and if you want to look up close that’s the spiral and these are made from whole.

Grains no preservatives or coloring added we specialize in gluten free pastas our entire production facility and all machines are dedicated to the manufacturer of rice pasta no other grain cereal nut or soy is used to prevent cross grain contamination at production so if you have like a soy allergy or a nut allergy you know that.

These products would be safe to use in your home and are again great for anybody that has a gluten sensitivity this company has been in business since 1997 and they’ve got a cute little picture of a bunny I think that’s a bunny that says not mushy and they come in different.

Colors so you can easily see which package which style you are getting side I got a deal on these so I got several of each type so here is another package of the spirals and it says Brown r pasta is a cholesterol Fe free food and it has easy and energy saving.

Cooking so you can cook one to two minutes in boiling water and then stir gently switch off the stove and cover pot for about 17 minutes and then it is ready to serve so you only have to have it on the fire for a total of two minutes which is great particularly if you’re cooking other inred or you’re making a sauce and you don’t want to.

Necessarily babysit the pasta this is the way to go and so again this is the second bag so I have two packages of the tinat spirals so that’s package number two just creting a little pile over there on the side now our fourth package of pasta is again a repeat type and this is the.

Fusel which I think is probably my favorite shape it’s a little bit fancier particularly when it comes to glutenfree pastas because we don’t usually get a lot of options we might get elbows and but we don’t normally get this cool texture so I’m really excited to have these in my pantry and each one of these is made.

From brown rice so it holds up really well in cooking and it is 16 oz or 454 G so really good value you can make a big batch of macaroni and cheese or baked pasta with this product’s mix it up a bit our next product is from the same company but this time it’s in a.

Box and it has a very tiny little window that you can see here shells now this is a probably a more traditional shape that a lot of people are familiar with um particularly when it comes to things like macaroni and cheese and dishes that you have for little kids and it is again H it is brown rice.

Pasta and it is glutenfree shells it’s in a dedicated grain facility it is not from flowers it’s crafted with love and it is made with one ingredient two I think if you count the water it’s whole grain and has no wheat corn Dairy eggs nuts or peanuts so if you have any of those food allergies you.

Don’t have to worry about it when you use this product it has no preservatives and superb texture and taste again this is one of my favorite brands of glutenfree pasta and it is a staple in my pantry for a very good reason it is quite good so we’re go ahead and we’re going.

To put that to the side and now we’ll go over I’ll show you a couple more of the bags it’s basically just repeats of the ones that we have so we already looked at our fusel and we got so we got a really good deal on this so I ended up with not one not two but three four bags of this particular shape.

Which is great it’s perfect for a light tasting family meal for serving your loved one and guests who are sure to appreciate with joy now I normally stock up on these as you can see I’ve got um about 12 packages I believe of pasta so we always have this particular brand in our pantry for a quick baked pasta or lasagna.

dish it also has traditional cooking instructions so if you want to cook it like you would a traditional pasta you basically cook it for um let’s see I believe 10 to 11 minutes and it will be cooked up to Perfection so super super great and all you have to do is store it in a cool and dry place so perfect for.

Food storage or if your grocery store wants to charge a lot you don’t want to go to the store all the time to pick this up this is definitely a brand that I would suggest up and having around now we have two more bags of this particular type as well so if you’re keeping I will do a total in a second.

And I will count everything up for you let’s look at the nutrition facts for a moment so nutrition fact this has eight servings per container so great for a family really um you can serve a lot of people with one of these packages and each serving is three4 of a cup of dry.

Pasta and it has 220 calories and another thing that’s really great about this particular brand is that it also has some fortification in it so you’ll see things like potassium and riboflavin and nasin and folate which you don’t get in a lot of other glutenfree varieties so um those are.

Things that tend to be lacking in a glutenfree diet a lot of times and so to have that extra added nutrients is really great for a balanced diet so look at how many uh pastas we have we’ve got one four really big pile of the fusini oh no sorry of our.

Spirals and then we have four one two three four of our new Selen shape which is probably by far my favorite shape of pasta and then we have our shells and our.

Shells we have one two three four boxes of our brown rice glutenfree shells so all in all we have 12 boxes or bags of pasta to go in our food storage and last but certainly not least we have this product right here now this.

Was fairly pricey I believe I paid probably around1 1819 for it and it is gluten free wheat free Steve’s glutenfree Bre Bre flower now this is dairy free soy free nut free and gum free used to replace wheat flour to make traditional breads pie crust pasta Etc now it’s packed in here very.

Tightly if you can hear that so it’s vacuum sealed so when I open it it’s going to go and expand but what’s nice about this is that with a little bit of yeast and some oil and some water you can make a really good glutenfree bread because it has all of the little extras that make the difference between regular.

Flour and a good glutenfree bread so we’ve got things like rice cornstarch tapioca vegetable fiber like syum hus which help give structure to the bread Millet sugar salt potato and then it has things like emulsifiers and ascorbic acid and sunflower Leen which is considered to be.

Bread dough conditioners which are really great particularly when you’re trying to defy science by making glutenfree bread so I’m really excited to try this and I’ll do a video when we do decide to make bread so that is my glutenfree vitto cost haul for the day um I hope you guys enjoyed it if you want to see more.

Content like this make sure to like leave me a comment and let me know if you want to try anything are you glutenfree or is it just exciting to see how the other half lives but thank you for watching and I’ll see you next time bye
