Hello my lovely Foodies welcome back to my kitchen for another vegan and gluten-free recipe episode I’m making this batch of delicious chewy oatmeal cookies because you know what I was really feeling like something sweet this week I don’t make oatmeal cookies all that often I do like them though I’ll eat them at a party or if I’m at some.
Event and they’re being served however I am not one of those people who likes to have raisins in their oatmeal cookies so I apologize to any of you watching who like to eat your oatmeal cookies that way you are not not going to see any of that stuff here let’s go through these eight lovely ingredients that go into the oatmeal cookies I’ve linked the.
Recipe down below so you can try out these cookies for yourself first up we have one of the all-time MVPs of my life of my kitchen of my pantry there’s 1 and 1/4 cups of rolled oats going in these cookies also in a fun little twist with this recipe there’s also 1/4 cup of oat flour so I’m going to be taking 1/4 cup of these rolled oats and pulsing them.
Down in my food processor to make that oat flour next up there’s 2 and 1/2 tbsp of golden flax seed meal 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/4 taspo of salt 3 tbsp of melted coconut oil 1/4 cup of creamy almond butter 2 tbspoon of maple syrup and the final ingredient is 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract now that we’ve gone through the eight ingredients I’m going.
To tell you the four super easy steps I’ll follow to make these oatmeal cookies first I’m mixing together the dry ingredients so that is the rolled oats the FLA seed meal the cinnamon the salt and also that 1/4 cup of rolled oats that I’ll be pulsing down into oat flour for step number two I’m mixing together the wet ingredients over here.
So the maple syrup the melted coconut oil the almond butter and the vanilla extract and those will be mixed together in a separate bowl from the dry ingredients for the third step I’ll take the wet ingredient mixture put it into the dry ingredient mixture and stir everything together until I’ve formed a smooth cookie batter for the fourth and.
Final step I’ll take the cookie batter and roll it into cookie dough balls I’m planning to use 2 tspoons of cookie batter per cookie I’ll then put the baking sheet in the oven at 350° F and the cookies will bake for about 10 minutes that’s everything for the recipe overview let’s get started making these delicious cookies.
oh the oal cookies are all done let’s get you a closeup of them you can see there’s a little bit of Browning on the bottom I’m one of those people who loves chewy cookies I don’t like a lot of crunch I don’t like you know almost.

Huge Sweet Tooth and just knowing it’s nearby I’m too tempted so it really is perfect for me to have just this little batch of oatmeal cookies all to myself it’s time to try these out although I have made these before I know how tasty they are M these are so good so hearty I’ll show you what the inside looks like I.
Feel like you could call this a trail mix cookie maybe if you had a few more things in here like peanuts shredded coconut maybe some ch chips you could definitely eat these for breakfast too not just dessert I mean yes they’re cookies but honestly I start almost every single day of my life with some form of oats and this is such a nice way.
