Indulge in Deliciousness: Decadent Gluten-Free Chocolate Easter Treats

Hey gluten-free friends Jennifer here welcome to my kitchen did you know that when you are out shopping for chocolate bars and you have a gluten-free chocolate bar when the holidays come around and they make those in little miniature pieces they’re not always gluten-free big bummer right don’t get glutened this Easter my friends I’m.

Going to teach you a fun and simple recipe that you can make it home so that you can share it with all your little gluten-free friends so the Easter Bunny can make everybody happy so we’re going to make some chocolate date balls and turn them into some Easter eggs are you ready here we go we’re starting with a cup of dates I have soaked these in hot.

Water for a good five minutes we’re going to dump them into our little blender here and mix them right up going to blend them down until they’re nice and smooth okay so that Blended up really nicely and we’re just scooping it out right into our bowl and we are going to mix up a really tasty and delicious chol.

Chocolate Brownie Bite that we love to make at our house and we’re going to turn them into fun Easter eggs that you can serve for Easter so all right so we have our mush our mush from our date balls we are going to add in a little bit of coconut flour we are going to add in some cocoa powder cacao powder super powder and a.

Little bit I added a little bit of um what did I put in there protein powder going to take a little bit of of shredded coconut friends when you’re buying shredded coconut you know what should be in your shredded coconut coconut that’s it read labels make sure you’re not putting all these extra things in here because then it defeats.

The purpose of making it on your own all right we’re going to add that in we are going to add in a little tiny splash of vanilla we are going to add in a little tiny splash of maple syrup and you don’t even really need this can’t open it today um because the dates give it a nice little sugar.

But the maple syrup gives it a nice little sweet taste as well and then we’re just going to mix that right together okay this needs a little bit of water so this is some of the water I reserved from the dates when I was soaking them and I’m just putting that right in here and you’re going to mix it up now if you had a big um freeon AR you.

Had a big mixer you could do this all right in the mixer when you blend the dates you can blend it all all together but this comes together pretty easily as well okay so look at that how quick was that now we are going to take this and we are going to divide it into little pieces and roll them up into little balls and start to make our eggs.

Now you can we can do this too I have some dark chocolate chips I’m going to I’m going to add those in why not add a little bit of crispy crunch when you bite into the egg right okay so got that all nice and mixed up smells delicious looks delicious already all right so I’m going to take my rings off otherwise they’re going to be coated.

In chocolate so we’re going to take just a little bit of a scoop and put it in your hand and you are going to kind of mold them so looks like you don’t want it to be a round ball you want it to look like a little bit of a flat little egg right so we’re just going to continue and make these roll them into a.

Ball flatten them out and make them into kind of a little bit of an egg shape and then you can continue to do that with all of the mixture until you’re done and then we’re going to plot them in the fridge you can even put them in the freezer if you need to go faster put them in the fridge and let them just harden up just a little bit here we are.

Already we’re going to pop them in the freezer for a few minutes okay we’re taking our favorite chocolate bar we’re going to melt it up and we’re going to be right back to cover our little egg all right friends we took our chocolate eggs out of the freezer probably could have left them in a little bit longer basically we just made the date ball.

Formed in the shape of an egg we are going to dump them in our melted chocolate which is already starting to solidify fun fun fun in the kitchen right it’s always good to get messy in the kitchen why not all right we’re going to mix that around we’re going to put pull it out nice and covered in chocolate and.

We’re going to put it on our parchment paper and those are going to go back in the fridge so they set up a little bit so we are just going to drop it in the chocolate turn it over messy messy there we go put it on your parchment paper and drop the next one in so in it goes flip it.

Around that’s all my friends there we go we’re going to let that set up in the fridge take them out you’re going to have a fun little chocolate egg so we’ll be back to show you the end results okay friends look at how cute these came out look at this I just dropped a little bit of coconut on this one cute little Easter egg put them in your little.

Easter baskets look at that yummy and delicious I’m going to taste one that is good yummy treat without all the crap we know it’s gluten-free we know it’s good healthier healthier choice my friends easy and delicious Easter eggs have fun have a happy Easter and I’ll see you next time have a delicious gluten-free day.
