Fluffy Pancakes and Savory Sausage – a Gluten-Free Breakfast Delight!
what’s up guys it’s Josie today I’m here with Josie’s mom and what are we making today pancakes with sausage and they’re going to be amazing so let’s get into the recipe and they’re glutenfree so this isn’t our recipe but it’s a decent recipe so this is what we’re going from mam nose glutenfree.
Yep so the first thing uh should we add the dry ingredients first or the wet ingredients let’s see here let’s just do the wet ingredients that’s how we’re going to roll okay okay so first we’re going to add one whole egg mhm into the bowl and um and then one teaspoon of vanilla.
Extract which we don’t have out already but get the teamwork woohoo yay well I can’t catch it love it okay okay and the next um the next thing is a 34 cup of milk and you can use almond milk or cow’s milk or whatever we’re going to use cows milk yep all right now now for the dry we need the oil the vegetable.
Oil oh yeah the vegetable oil 2 tblsp of vegetable oil boom all right and now it’s time to add the dry ingredients okay why don’t you whisk that up a little bit there you go all right I’m an expert at this cuz I make scrambled eggs a lot then to that we’re going to add two tablespoons of.
Granulated sugar wh that up a little bit okay then we’re going to add one cup of allpurpose gluten-free flour and this recipe also calls for um Fruit sanm gum but we don’t need to use it because the flower that we’re using the gluten-free flower that we’re using already has it.
But we just wanted to mention that yep we’re using King Arthur’s allpurpose gluten-free flow the best the best and to that you’re going to add your one tablespoon of gluten-free baking powder it’s a lot of baking powder but these pancakes are going to rise a lot mm and then all that we have left is a little bit of salt right yep 1/4 teaspoon of.
Salt I we couldn’t we didn’t have any more of these little containers so I put it on this that’ll work all right then you whisk that up really good and make sure there aren’t any lumps and then you’re ready to fry yeah team workor and now they’re ready we’re ready we’re ready to go and.
Now we’re frying now this is just a test pancake because we don’t know how it’s the first one never turns out when you make panc that’s the rule of pancak the rule of Pancakes so this is so this first one is just a test in time for the sausage crumbles.
Now that is beautiful it’s perfect I know right all right so the first one turned out beautiful okay so and you ready we’re going to make another pancake so we’re going to scoop our pancake batter in there kind of spread it out a little bit flatter because these pancakes get really fat.
And sometimes they don’t cook in the middle before they’re well done then we’re going to take some some sausage crumbles breakfast sausage crumbles this is the Twist and put them in our pancake batter instead of chocolate chip pancakes or something or blueberry we’re having sausage pancakes it’s pretty wild and I’ve made &em pancakes before it’s.
Crazy y with like just little mini M&M so you don’t want a lot a lot a lot just just enough to yeah so then when you’re making pancakes you always want to look at the bubbles when it starts to make bubbles and when those bubbles start to pop that’s when you want to start thinking about flipping your pancake and we’ll peek at the bottom.
It’s looking pretty good but we’ll give it a little bit longer before I flip it if you flip it too soon then your sausage will fall out all right here we go wish me luck sure it’s not stuck and and then I like to put a lid on my pancake so that it keeps the heat in good idea and Cooks it through now.
You’re going to you can see it’s going to get fatter and fatter and fatter as it Cooks on the other side but it looks good it looks really good so that is how you make pancakes with sausage crumbles I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you all have an amazing day thank you for doing this by the way bye.
bye oh
