Hi and welcome to today’s Vlog today we are heading out to a little beastro cafe delicatess called salt of the earth in poulton near Blackpool so join us to see what we had and see what we thought ading her TS while she plays with all her cats disability gives her super power agility to Holiday and live.

The right wayos salt of the earth is in Carlton in poulon which is just outside of Blackpool it is close enough that if you’re driving around Blackpool you could easily get here for a visit salt of the earth is a small family Rand delicatess and they say that they are committed to providing honest locally.

Sourced food which is skillfully prepared and reasonably priced all their dishes are cooked to order and their menu changes seasonally to accommodate the finest and freshest local project the vibe inside is really fun I really like it in here there’s a lot going on there’s a lot to look at they’ve got board games and stuff you can play and.

It looks like they run lots of local events which is really fun here is a little look at the menus there is a lot to choose from they all sound fantastic I love a good pun comedy name and they have plenty of those everything sounds really nice they’ve got a vegan menu they’ve got a kids menu they’ve got a really nice drinks menu uh there is a.

Lot to choose from here they have been open since around 2007 and they have their full menus and lots more information including their opening hours because they don’t open every day that’s all available on their website and I will link their website and all their social medias below just for info at the moment they open on.

Wednesdays from 11: till 4:00 and then Thursdays to Sunday from 99 till 4:00 uh you can call to book tables and it looks like they update their daily specials and informational stuff on Instagram quite regularly so like I said I will pop those links below we ordered a tea and a flat white to start I adored this little jug it was full of full fat milk.

As well which is such a treat when we were trying to find somewhere in or near Blackpool that was gluten-free where I could have a really nice Branch uh your choices are quite limited so this is a real treat to find and we actually contacted them in advance to see if they could offer us anything glutenfree and they very very.

Quickly sent us back this like photo of their menu and they had kindly marked all the stuff either was or could be done glutenfree which was great and when she came over to take her orders we did mention again that I was gluten-free and she explained that their friers were completely gluten-free so anything fried would be gluten-free and they always had.

Gluten-free bread available so all of the sandwiches and toast type things could be made gluten-free as well this is what Neil ordered this is Toronto toast which is butter French toast with smok streaky bacon honeycomb butter maple syrup and fresh berries and he also ordered a side of sourdough toast I went for Tots because they.

Sounded freaking amazing these are Bagel tots so these are T tots with everything seasoning crispy bacon scallion cream cheese chives and crispy shalots and let me tell you I could not believe the size of this portion look at them it is sh soil what did you have to eat at salt.

Of the earth um it was called Toronto toast I’m not really sure what it was it was French toast with bacon and maple syrup and berries very nice yeah it looked nice it looked really good and I had tots uh Bagel tots I think it was I had in the end and I had like crispy shalots and crispy bacon and I think it was cream.

Cheese with spring onions in and it was it was really nice and it was a huge portion I was amazed and she plopped them down in front of me uh but yeah was really nice it was absolutely lovely definitely go back tomorrow my portion of tots was so huge that Neil had to actually help me finish these they were just one of the best.

Things I’ve put in my mouth I really really enjoyed these tots and I would eat them every day if I could um overall we loved it at salt of the earth H we will definitely be going back every time we visit Blackpool because it was just so nice and it’s really nice to be able to have something a little bit different when you’re gluten-free usually you get.

Sort of slightly rubbish gluten-free toast so to be able to have something that was this fun as an option was great and I’d be really tempted to try some of their other options that come with toast I mean I don’t know I I love the tots too much to try anything else maybe I don’t know but yeah if you are in the area if you live locally I would.

Definitely definitely go and visit salt of the earth because it was just such a good fun meal uh if you look on their Instagram and their website it looks like they hold lots of different events uh on the window I found a poster for this really fun Bob Ross event and if I lived locally I would absolutely attend that in terms of accessibility there is.

Limited street parking outside there is a pub car park opposite the road but I guess during busy Pub opening times you might not be able to park there uh so I’m not sure what the other parking options are but it is all on the flat uh we would have been able to get my wheelchair in although there isn’t a lot of space inside uh I think we would have.
