PARIS VLOG 3: The Louvre, Versailles, Solo Exploring, Shopping, Gluten-Free Foods – Video Transcription

I did it I found a ring for each of us soers out it’s time for the Lo so good I’m honestly so shocked that I’m sad to leave hi friends how are you good morning welcome back to my channel for.

The third and final Paris Vlog it’s crazy we have three more days here if you’re new here hi there’s two Paris Vlogs that have already gone live on my channel and then after this Vlog there’s going to be a malt St Michelle and a Rome Vlog as well so lots of fun stuff still upcoming tomorrow we’re going to the LOF today we’re going to do a boat.

Ride see all the sites at night which will be fun also go to a jazz club so I think it’s going to be a lot of fun I’m staying back this morning I just had work to catch up on unfortunately everybody else took off of work except for me for me me right now it’s you know mid December so it’s the busiest time of the year everybody right now is at St.

Chappelle and I asked Jordy to get some footage for us so at least we can still show y’all that I’m just going to get ready for the day see how long it takes them to do that I might strike out on my own solo Adventure we will see depending on what they choose for lunch if it’s safe for me or not and then otherwise meet up with them in the afternoon for.

Some walking around before our evening plans so I’m so glad you’re here work is at a good place about to get ready for the day but before I get ready I’m really excited to show youall something really cool I’ve been dying to tell you about it but it hasn’t released until the week that this video is going live I was able to try this out early.

Like over a month ago this is from one of my favorite brands of all time OA they are sponsoring today’s video meaning I have a limited time discount code for y’all but they just released this on January 4th this is the collagen dream night cream this is the first ever clinically proven night cream to reduce the effects of stress on skin and it is.

So good is so luscious and like whipped and it smells like lavender but the ingredients in this are very cool one is derived from blue and green microalgae it’s called a bio retinol and it helps improve the appearance of fine lines without the irritation also there’s a vegan collagen in this so this is vegan crueltyfree and that is super rich in.

Amino acids this has been such a hack for traveling in jet lag too I feel like normally my skin just shows it looks so dull and tired and this has been like a supercharge of those amino acids and really good hydrating soothing calming ingredients and I’ve actually been getting comments on my skin even though I’ve been not treating it very nicely.

While I’ve been here in terms of sleep and food so I’m really excited for this product cuz it’s already one of my all-time favorite Brands and stress is the thing that I probably am aware of the most in terms of how it affects me and my body and my skin so I feel like this was kind of made for me but as I mentioned I have a limited code for yall.

I’m going to have the link down in the description box but it is Mel dream and that gets you 10% off of your order from oia’s website so I’ll have all that information down below thank you to oia for sponsoring this video and this was great timing with the travel but I have had this for a while and I’ve been so excited to tell you all about it so.

Secet out there is a couple other gluten-free bakeries on my list that I want to make sure to get to before I leave and also a couple stores so we’ll see what everybody’s up to and I’ll see how how quickly I get ready I think I’m going to go ahead and go up uh to I think was it the 11th District that had sha B long which is another gluten-free.

Bakery and then also a vintage jewelry store that a lot of people told me about that we should go check out yeah it’s kind of the 11th District area and we’ll go walk around that area see what we see and then see everybody has to meet up with them if you hold on me I will.

Hold on you let our P swing let the years pass through a 30 minute Uber and I’ve made it this is what my breakfast lunch is going to be which is a zucchini f completely gluten-free I’m so glad it comes with a salad cuz I haven’t had many vegetables lately I wanted to try.

The coffee at Claire but then the guy here said I have to try the chocolate flop so I got it to try a bite um I don’t think it will travel well so I might just have to try a bite and call it good there just give it a taste I’m sitting in the very front of the store so I’m like just just that.

American so good the fla is nice it’s almost like not sweet at all which I’m surprised about us Americans making everything so sweet and the aair is very full oh well you can’t tell cuz I bit it but it was very full of cream which was delicious and it looks like they sell a ton of different like baking flour combos here so I might try to figure out.

Which one is the best and bring it for our Christmas cuz we’ll be cooking a lot cuz we’ll be in a little town for Christmas so I went ahead and found a ptis flow I think it’s it’s just actually mostly rice oh yeah rice and celium which is great cuz that’s fiber um but this whole bag of organic gluten-free flour was.

€7 and like I feel like this is very fancy so way cheaper than the us and this little corner so cute there’s a coffee shop over here a really cute restaurant over here um and it’s kind of like a little square but I’m about to go walk and see um I need to pull up the name of it I should have got a bag TVH it’s called.

A lot e l l i a d e it’s all vintage jewelry some local friends on Instagram suggested it and it’s a 19-minute walk from here which is not too bad I can’t tell if you need an appointment or not but I’m just going to try my luck cuz it’s not that far and then I think it’ll be time to meet up with the family they’re all still at a gluten brunch so.

I’m glad we did this but let’s walk let’s see if I can find a vintage wedding band perhaps for me um or just a simple plain band for Jordie he did say if we could find one here he loves the idea of having something vintage and having something from here cuz he’s an anagram 4 and feels extra special sentimental.

I did it I found a ring for each of us facetimed him to pick one out his is from the 1940s mine’s from the’ 70s and they are resizing it for us us we’re going to pick it up in 2 days before we leave which is so perfect and it was half the budget I had allotted for our rings and way more special so it’s fun.

To buy second hand for things like that and now I’m off to meet the family well I have some sad news I lost the audio for the rest of this Vlog I’m officially going to get rid of this camera I’ve been using because this happens to it pretty frequently so picking back up where we.

Left off I met up with the Cersei family to do a bit of shopping they wanted to see suzan so we went to suzan they each got a couple things it was very fun and then we were going to walk from there to the spot called Bou but on the way we passed lter which is like the famous macarons apparently the guy working there told me everything was gluten-free.

But but I didn’t trust him too much cuz there were some like cookie flavored seasonal things and so I didn’t end up trying anything but we got quite a few boxes of those to take home and then went to Bou which is so cool it’s basically like a perfumery I think it’s been around since the 1800s but they have all their perfumes out and you kind.

Of squeeze the little I don’t even know what you call it balloon and you can smell them on the top and they have this new line right now that’s all Garden flavored so I ended up getting one that was tomato and red currant flavored but my other favorite was sweet potato and carrot and it smelled so good they actually have an in-house calligrapher.

That when you buy this I think it’s supposed to be when you buy it as a gift but we got all ourselves a perfume they wrap it and then they write your name on the package with this beautiful calligraphy and then they stamp it with that but then we struck back out because we were going to do a river cruise I thought we were going to be late we.

Sprinted there but we got there and Jordy went and secretly got me a hot chocolate which was so sweet and we sat outside for most of it to have a better view um we saw beautiful sites a lot of things that we had previously seen of course like the Eiffel Tower we saw the Lou which was great because we were going to get to go there the next day I.

Did not know when the tower sparkled but I learned that starting at 7:00 it’s the first 5 minutes of each hour till midnight so that was great that was something I did not know until we did the cruise um the guy had a thick accent so I didn’t pick up on too much much but that was you know a useful fact and from there we walked around that area looking.

For dinner and there is this oyster spot that I had eyed actually earlier in the week and we all decided to try that I could you not it was the best oysters of my life like it was so fresh it felt like it wasn’t even oceany at all it was just crisp and light and salty nothing like too dirt earthy like sometimes oysters can get but we got es cargo as.

Well I haven’t tried es cargo since I was in high school so Jordy and I got a clip of trying it together so delicious oh my gosh I guess if you cover anything in that much oil or butter and herbs it will be delicious but I actually thoroughly enjoyed it and then this this underground jazz club was so much fun I later learned that I think you’re not.

Supposed to take photo and video so I’m so sorry I was not aware um there’s no signs or anything but I think that that’s just kind of the general culture good morning it’s day two it’s time for the L I cannot believe how huge this was.

I was saying in this first clip maybe it’s silly of me because I did not realize that the actual pyramid of the Loof is pretty much enclosed by the building around it so the whole time I was there before we went I was like looking from the river trying to look for the pyramid but you really can’t see it unless you go into it but there is.

Essentially a mall underground and then it takes days to see all of it but we went on a comedy tour this guy is the number one rated experience with all of Airbnb experiences I think he was the first one he said they called him from San Francisco and was like do you want to be one of our first experiences he immediately took us in through the back.

Door to see the Mona Lisa he was like we’re going to start with breaking a rule so we like went in through an exit because if you wait it is like a huge mop of people and hard to see the Mona Lisa and it is quite small my favorite part were the steings I think it’s fascinating that somebody can be that that great at painting but have to do it.

With a fear of heights you know get over that and be able to look up completely and paint with their arm in the air that just fascinates me as we were leaving Jordy made a lot of L puns um we LED it we had a great time.

Live laugh L you know and we’re tired so it’s time to L those are all his jokes so I can’t take credit for any of them but we really truly had a a good time seeing it all I will say it is quite overwhelming to navigate by yourself so I do think if you go having a tour guide really helps and being the first and entry at 9:00 a.m. also really helps.

Because it does get packed throughout the day another thing I will say is not super gluten- friendly there so if you’re one of my gluten-free friends trying to plan a travel thing um pack some snacks if you I actually don’t even know if you can really bring in you can’t bring in water um but you can maybe have a snack in your purse and eat.

It in the food haul so that’s my little tip for you but I did not do that so afterward I was so hungry and I wanted to cross off a couple things off my gluten-free list so the first spot we went is actually walking distance from the Lou we walked there it’s called cococo it’s completely lactose free gluten-free and I think organic and it.

Is a Japanese Bento Box spot and so I got the Fried Chicken bento box and the fry was so good there’s almost like a curry powder in it it was so crispy and light and then a spot that I really wanted to go to is called Meson plume and it’s more of an actual like cake Patisserie whereas a lot of the other spots on my list are more like kind of.

Bread focus and then have some pastries it’s such a beautiful kind of traditional Patisserie that I got some to take home to kind of have you know throughout the week I got I think three things so that was a great ending to the day.

The last final day um we went to her size we walked through the first all of the public public parts so a ton of bedrooms back to back to back just so much detail everywhere and then we made it to the Hall of Mirrors which I am so glad that we got there early because it was so beautiful to see the way the light reflected on the mirrors we ended.

Up going to the restaurant inside of her size which was called Angelina and one of the only gluten-free things was the steak but I was really excited to have the steak so that was great and after that we did a private tour of the king’s Apartments that’s something that you have to have a ticket to go see you can’t just enter with the public and.

This is essentially like the private apartments for the king that he could kind of get away and not be watched fully and it’s crazy just how it kept going I was like oh if he has the palace to live in then this might be a smaller thing but no it kept going it was absolutely massive my favorite was the library room that had bookshelves but.

The bookshelf El were actually doors into other rooms I thought that that was really cool we walked around the gardens before we left but we had to leave midday to go pick up our Rings before they closed because they resized it for us and they resize the Rings for us free of charge.

Which is so sweet I have a couple iPhone clips of us trying them on I think it’s such a special Keepsake to remember the trip but also something that we will wear every single day and holds a lot of value and I love the fact that it is vintage and has history behind it as opposed to just being something new so I was really pleased to pick those up and.

We walked around Paris for the rest of the night and here I am in the final clip saying that I’m so sad to leave I’m honestly so shocked that I’m sad to leave to be honest I’m not a huge fan of cities normally like three days in New York I’m done I do not feel better than when I arrived and so I normally try to plan trips to somewhere a little bit.

More quiet and I thought I would feel that way about Paris but honestly we were there for 9 days and I feel like I could have stayed so much longer there was more I wanted to see we have a couple Vlogs coming up that will be so fun we’re going to be staying in a building built in 1,67 and we’re going to see M St.

Michelle in the next Vlog and then we’re off to Rome so thank thanks for joining me thanks for being patient with my technical difficulties I’m so sorry about it thanks again to OA for partnering with me on this video I’m going to have my code in my link and all the good information down below I love youall I hope you have the best rest of.

Your day and I will see you at M St Michelle feels so near don’t be incarcerate by fear
