Indulge Without the Gluten: A Delicious Twist on a Classic Comfort Food!

you’ve probably seen Tiny’s viral mac and cheese all over the Internet and today I’m making it gluten-free I was seeing it all over my for you page and I really wanted in on some of the action to see what the hype was all about and it definitely lived up to it I’m so excited to share this recipe with you.

Guys it turned out so delicious and let’s just say someone else in my house is just as excited as I am my little Sue Chef Bucky thinks this is all for him but we’ll see about that here are the ingredients you’ll need it’s super easy to make with just a couple gluten-free swaps take a screenshot here so you can follow along.

Too they’ll also be in the description below as always first we’re going to combine all of our seasonings the seasoning is truly what makes it the best you guys you’re going to need smoked paprika garlic powder salt and pepper mix it all up in a small little bowl like so and set it to the side I love love love.

Mac and cheese I’m a mac and cheese connoisseur if you will and I was super excited that I could try making this recipe gluten-free because of wonderful wonderful gluten-free pasta and gluten-free flowers that are so widely available now this recipe is so so good and I’m really sure that you guys will like it I’m so glad I tried it you guys.

Now the secret to making this pasta taste just like the original using the creamiest blend of cheeses and cooking the pasta just right so you’re going to start with blocks of cheese don’t get that pre-shredded cheese because that’s not as creamy you’re going to grade it yourself I have this super awesome cheese grater here I love it so much and.

I think it’s super cool because it doesn’t cut your hands it you just spin it like this it’s super cool so I grated all five BL of cheese like so you need two blocks of colby jack two box two blocks of mozzarella and one block of cheddar you can use sharp cheddar or whatever you like but I like medium cheddar so that’s what I used grate up.

All your cheese trust me it’s so much better so much creamier if you grate it yourself you can use the one that’s already pre-shredded in the bag if you want but trust me this gets it more creamy and more resemblant of the original teeny mac and cheese look at all that cheese you guys this is a big bowl go ahead and mix it all up like.

This and put it to the side now we’re going to cook the our gluten-free pasta it calls the recipe calls for cavat topy so it can get in all the grooves so I’m using my favorite bonsa chickpea kavat tapy pasta but you can use whatever shape or type of gluten-free pasta you like don’t overcook it or it’ll get mushy drain it a little early so it.

Stays perfect when we mix mix everything together now in a saucepan over medium heat we’re going to melt 3 tbsp of butter add in half our seasoning mixture and the gluten-free flour again you can use any gluten-free flour you’d like you can use a one to one flour or just a regular flour without zanthin gum whatever you like stir it together until.

It forms a sort of like paste and it clumps up like that and then add a can of evaporated milk and then add two cups of heavy cream the fact that we’re using evaporated milk and heavy cream makes the pasta that much creamier and that much cheesier and it’s so so delicious look at that creamy goodness Stir It Up and add in the rest.

Of your seasoning blend it seriously smells so good you guys you already know this is going to be delicious now you’re going to add in a tablespoon of Dijon mustard I like this one because it actually calls out on the front that it’s gluten-free so add in your Dijon mustard stir it all together and now we’re going to throw in half of our.

Cheese blend look at that cheesy goodness stir it all up like so save the other half for later and let it Bubble look how good that looks it looks so professional guys I’m so excited now we’re going to go ahead and add in our pasta this is drained pasta pasta by the way throw it in throw as much as you can into the saucepan I had.

A lot a lot of pasta and I couldn’t fit it all in the saucepan the first time coat your noodles add in the rest coat them again get it get all the cheese all up in all the noodles like so and once the cheese sauce and noodles is silky smooth like this you’re going to grease a 9×13 baking pan and add it in make sure every noodle is coated in cheesy.

Perfection though you just add about half of the pasta to the bottom of the pan and then on top of that we’re going to layer it with some of that cheese blend and then we’re going to put the other half of the pasta on top and the other half of the cheese blend on Top This is super layered super cheesy super gooey super.

Delicious so as you can see layer of noodles layer of cheese layer of noodles layer of cheese and we’re going to pop it in the oven at 350 ° for 25 to 30 minutes but in the last 2 minutes we’re going to broil it a few moments later all right now that it’s been 25 to 30 minutes at 350 we’re going to crank up the heat and.

Broil it for just 2 to 3 minutes to get that crispy cheesy top guys this is hands down the best Gluten-Free mac and cheese I’ve ever had so creamy so cheesy and no one would even know it’s gluten-free my entire family loved it in including Mr Chef Bucky this he was obsessed with it just like I was there you have it Tiny’s viral mac and cheese.

But gluten-free this was so easy and Beyond delicious so if you’re gluten-free you have to try this and let me know in the comments what viral recipe should I make gluten-free next don’t forget to hit that subscribe for more for more gluten-free goodness and I’ll see you in the next one and let’s see if we can get teeny to watch this.
