Indulge in Guilt-Free Crunch: Irresistibly Sweet, Naturally Nourishing!

Hello and welcome back from nutrition and you today we’re going to make some little date cookies now some time ago I made these a friend said look my partner wants something sweet can you make it without sugar and I went let’s do some dates we did it and it turned out perfect so let’s do it so what we’ve got for a little bit of fiber and crunch.

I’ve ground up 3/4 of a cup of millet in there and millets high in protein and just a lovely food to have for fiber we’ve got four free range eggs we’ve got a cup and a half of chopped dates which we’ll put on the top of the cookies pumpkin seeds 3/4 of a cup and we’ve got a cup of currants for natural sugar and vitamin C olive oil as usual and for the.

Flour I’ve just got a cup and a half of buckweat flour to which I’ll add 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and some baking powder to the four eggs we’ll just add two teaspoons of vanilla we have got half a cup of organic olive.

Oil and we’ll just whis those up whisked up the four eggs of vanilla and the half a cup of organic olive oil freshly ground van mil for protein and fiber just give that another little mix up and then we can add the flour so that’s gone lovely and creamy and.

Beautiful colored yellow with the ground Millet in there so now we’ll just pop in the um Buck flour with the cinnamon and the baking powder put that in there to keep everything simple let’s give that a mix around we can add the pumpkin seeds 3/4 a cup of uncooked pumpkin seeds there we go yummy.

Already and a cup of cone now we do need 2 tablespoons of liquid in there so I’m going to add the soyer milk which we use but you can add water or what’s greatable with you so we’ve got the two tablespoons of liquid and just mix that through and these will rise up really.

Well so we’ll just put those on there and they’ll take care of themselves we’ve got some visitors arriving tomorrow so I know they’ll they’ll love these so the lovely thing about the Millet cookies is going back to school there’s no nuts in them which is often a problem with score but you’ve got your protein and your fiber in your lovely.

Millet and you’ve got your pumpkin seeds in there I’m sure that they won’t be a trouble and you got your natural sugars which a slower release with your dried fruit and of course because we’ve got dried fruit in there as opposed to just other sweetening you’re going to get a lot more minerals so remember that you know your fruits and the natural foods.

Are going to give you more minerals than artificial or just straight sugars why are minerals important for you minerals are really important because minerals are your C denominators and when we think of the world today and we think of you know the food that’s been overprocessed and it’s it’s all white and refined well your minerals are in.

The fiber and they’re in the husk of the food so we we miss missing out on a lot of minerals and trust me to think of this one but you know when you boil your vegetables I’m always reminding people don’t throw the water away just mash it back into the potatoes or keep it aside for some soup or take it in terms of drinking it have another look at our.

Instagram videos because it’s not so hard to cook vegetables in a little bit of water and keep the water in then add a little bit of olive oil at the end of cooking and that’s the way you’ll get your good oils and here’s another point of interest that I was reading over the holidays your adrenals are really important little dudes like you know.

Your adrenals hang on top of your kidneys but they’re they’re to do with energy and fight and flight and making you feel comfortable in your own body and when you’re adrenals are worn out well you are too but hey guess what these are little fat dudes and they love good oil I don’t mean fried foods I don’t mean saturated fats I need oils.

The way they first were made unprocessed unheated so little adrenals are very important little dudes so there they are they’re looking good now with our dates this is where the party comes in so we put three there like that and of course dates are high in iron and most people need iron today for one reason or another they’ve got inflammatory bowel.

Or they’re not having their chickweed and their nettle in their herbal mix or their parsley in their food and then this is a nice show and tell at school hey guess what I brought some Millet cookies they’re good for fiber and they taste sweet they’ve got cinnamon flavor and vanilla and dates for iron and no.

Artificial things there we go we got some lovely little dudes that people can take to school lunches on picnics and they’ll keep well if you can keep them that long put the other so 20 minutes in case I forget we’ve got the timer.

Going we just about ready to enjoy
