To elevate this dreamy pavlova, it is complemented with a tangy raspberry sauce and a rich coconut whipped cream, creating an indulgent dessert perfect for celebrating love. Whip Up Love: A Delightfully Decadent Vegan Twist on a Classic Treat!

Valentine’s Day is coming up I don’t like going out on Valentine’s Day the restaurants usually have overly priced menu options it’s crowded I like to stay at home and make a nice meal and that leads me to thinking about dessert traditionally we have a chocolate based dessert but this year I wanted to do.

Something different I thought I’d try a pavlova it’s a crunchy merang base topped with a beautiful coconut whipped cream and some berries and a Berry sauce this elegant dessert is perfect for any special occasion but you won’t believe how easy it is to make the ingredients you need are 1/2 cup of aquafaba that’s the liquid from a can of.

Chickpeas you need 1 teaspoon of corn starch 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and then the equivalent of 1/2 cup of cane sugar that is finely ground you can grind this using a coffee grinder or a food processor you’re going to want to use a mixer with a whisk attachment everything has to be clean or it will impact the.

Outcome of the recipe uh pour the aquaa into the mixer and start mixing on high whisk for about 5 minutes until the aquafaba starts forming soft peaks then add the 1 teaspoon of corn starch and the 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar then start mixing again on high slowly add the ground sugar to the aquafaba mixture one tablespoon at a.

Time to allow it to fully incorporate after each addition briefly stop the mixer to add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla but then resume mixing continue whisking until you achieve stiff peaks when you pull up the Whisk attachment check for this periodically.

Because you don’t want to over mix line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the Pavlova mixture on the baking tray you can make one large Pavlova or four small ones as I did using the back of a spoon or a spatula smooth out the tops and create small indentations this will allow the pavva to hold the toppings after they’re baked.

Place the Pavlova in a preheated 230° oven if you’re baking four small ones bake this for about 1 hour and 45 minutes if you’re baking one large Pavlova I’d bake it for about 2 hours it’s important that you never open the oven door during this time and then also when the baking time has ended just turn off your oven and leave the pavalova in.

There for another 2 hours with the door closed while the Pavlova are baking you can make the raspberry sauce you’ll need one small container of raspberries and then what you want to do is place these in a saucepan with about a half a cup of cane sugar and heat it until the raspberries and sugar start to melt together and continue stirring and.

Heating until the mixture becomes almost liquefied and a sauce continue heating for a few minutes until it thickens allow the sauce to cool slightly and then you want to strain uh out the seeds just use a small uh strainer and pour the sauce into that and continue scraping the bottom so you get all of the sauce but you have to.

Keep stirring the seeds so that the sauce presses through the strainer then place the sauce in the fridge to cool to make the coconut whipped cream you want to use one can of full fat coconut milk that’s been placed in the fridge overnight so that the coconut cream thickens you want to remove just the coconut cream that’s the.

Solids and place in a mixer it’s best to use a coconut milk that does not have any additives like guar gum after mixing for a bit add about 2 tbsp oons of powdered sugar and about 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla then blend the coconut cream on high until it becomes light and fluffy store this in the fridge until you’re ready to serve the pavalova after you’ve.

Patiently waited for the 2 hours of baking in the oven and the 2 hours of standing in the oven with the temperature off the Pavlova should be ready they should be light and crispy on the exterior and have a slight chew to the interior you want to place your toppings on the Pavlova when you’re ready to.

Serve first you put a delicious layer of coconut cream on top and then add the raspberry sauce and top with some beautiful berries and some mint leaves but these aren’t your only topping options on top of the coconut whipped cream you can also Place mango and passion fruit pulp if you like chocolate you can drizzle it with chocolate and.

Hazelnuts and the Pavlova itself can be modified to be chocolate maybe lemon or coffee I just might cover these variations in another video
