Thrifty Eats: Gluten & Lactose Free Grocery Finds
Welcome back my friends to another grocery shopping day for anybody new hello my name is Meg I am lactose intolerant I am gluten intolerant but my husband is neither of those this week I went to three different stores I went to bashes a store local to my area fries which is my local Kroger store and finally Safeway but let’s go ahead and.
Get into the groceries I’ll show you guys what I got here are all of the groceries that I got this week we can start over here with what I got at a local store to my area called bashes now they had white meat chicken on sale for $1.99 but they had an in store coupon that dropped it down to 99 per pound so 50% off what is marked.
On these packages very happy with that deal right there I able to restock on a lot of chicken to make es they were 88 cents a pound so I grabbed a couple pounds worth lettuce all of their lettuce 98 cents per head I grabbed one red leaf lettuce and two of the iceberg lettuce since these last longer in the fridge cantaloupes were 15 cents a pound.
And finally I was going to grab two cantaloupes but then I saw these fun looking melons and they were pretty decent deal so I went ahead and grabbed I believe that’s a Picasso melon and a canary melon just to give them a try cuz I thought it would be fun and I believe that is everything that I got at bashes next we’ll move on to what I got at.
Safeway here they had in store coupon for eight ears of corn for a dollar I just grabb two enough for our fourth of July celebration coming up they also had 2 lbs baby carrots on sale for less than $2 and then their cheese was again on sale this time I grabbed three of the sharp white cheddar cheeses and they also had a in store coupon for this open.
Nature almond milk so I grabbed one of those I think it was $2.99 after the coupon and finally what I got at fries they had their chicken drums and chicken thighs on sale for 99 a piece I just grabbed one package of that since I’m still pretty stocked up for the most part on thighs then for our fourth of July celebration they had these T-bone.
Steaks on sale so I grabbed one the smallest one I could find that looked decent for 8.93 a can of Mandarin oranges and Juice I found a recipe that I wanted to try that required that and I figured they aren’t too expensive so I’ll grab one then my red bag special three greenbell peppers for.
9 and that is everything that I got at the store this week I am amazed at how much I was able to get this week at a a surprisingly good deal but how much did I actually spent well at bashes I spent $18.75 at fries my local Kroger store $1 1741 and finally at Safeway $811 meaning for all of these groceries that I got this week.
$442 7 I still can’t believe that I managed to get all of this meat to restock my freezer all these fruits vegetables Dairy all of this for such a little price I’m amazed but let me know down in the comment section what was the best deal that you managed to snag this week if you enjoyed today’s grocery shopping.
