delicious and hassle-free gluten free burgers

Today I experimented with a no-rise time recipe for gluten-free, paleo, and keto burger buns. These buns are quick and easy to make, perfect for those following a special diet or looking for a healthier alternative. I made a few modifications to the original recipe, using flax seed and xanthan gum instead of psyllium husk powder.

The result was a delicious batch of burger buns that were not only flavorful but also had a great texture. Making homemade bread can be intimidating, but this recipe proves that it can be done without the need for long rise times. These buns are a versatile option for your next burger night, and you won’t even miss the gluten!

Deliciously Fluffy Gluten-Free Burger Buns in a Flash!

Welcome back we’re making hamburger buns today we’re making them low carb and gluten-free my name is Carri keep it simple DIY and we are going to just jump right into this recipe I have some coconut flour and some almond flour I have a half a cup of coconut and 2/3 of a cup of almond flour and to that I’m going to add about 2 tablespoons of.

Plaqu seed and then a little pinch maybe like a half a teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon of zanen gum and I’m adding about 2 teaspoons of baking soda to that I’m going to mix all these together and I’m going to explain why I chose this recipe so I am wanting to make chicken burgers I actually just made them so if you haven’t checked out that recipe it’s the.

Video before this and I’ll link it at the end of this video I want to make them tonight and I don’t have buns and so I wanted to make something really quick and so this is what I’ve decided on I’m hoping it tastes good the coconut maybe that wasn’t the best idea but that’s what the recipe called for so we’ll see how that turns out this also.

Calls for a half a cup of really hot water and then four eggs and that’s it this is a super simple recipe so I’m hoping it turns out well but if it doesn’t we’ll just try again there are a few different recipes that I would like to try to make buns and so that’ll be coming if these don’t turn out good I’m also a little curious.

Just about coconut flour in there so this is whipped together super fast I just need to mix it together and then something about gluten-free flour is that you need to let it sit for about 5 minutes so it can completely hydrate anytime whoops anytime you’re using any type of gluten-free flour you want to do that so.

I will do that and while it’s sitting for about 5 minutes I will get a pan lined with parchment paper and have that ready for us to be able to bake them I already have my oven preheating to 350 so hopefully that’ll be ready right when we’re ready for it I think we are now thoroughly combined so I’m going to let it sit for.

5 minutes and clean up and get the parchment paper ready this has been sitting for about 5 minutes I am going to spray some parchment paper it didn’t say to do that I don’t think I didn’t read the directions all that well it did say to cut this into eight so let’s see here these look like it looks like that won’t be very much.

For each one if I do eight let’s see yeah I think they need to be bigger than that I’m not sure sure how much this will rise with that baking soda so I think I’m going to air on this side of thin rather than thick this dough smells fantastic I.

Think the coconut might actually just give it a nice sweetness because this bread doesn’t have any sugar or anything in it I don’t think we’re going to have any issues with it tasting like coconut I could be wrong that could be famous last words but I think it’s going to be good but it did say this makes eight and I’m making.

Five so either these are going to puff up a lot and I am highly mistaken or they were saying they were going to be really tiny I definitely can say I don’t like gluteny quick breads for hamburger buns so we’ll see how the non-gluten ones are all right into the oven for 30 minutes I was definitely skipping a step I’m going.

To spray the tops because I just feel like that’ll help that one needs to be squished a little bit more let’s get some seeds on top now into the oven for 30 minutes these have now come out of the oven and I’m very glad I only made five they’re they’re pretty dense definitely think I could have used maybe some starches in.

There after having these a few times with chicken burgers I’m actually quite impressed these stuck together really well their flavor was good and they were super filling because of that almond flour I’m guessing and the flax seed meal so overall I call these a win
